Lyricist: About 1970, I heard John Lennon’s classic, “Imagine.” I thought, “I can do that. I can apply my poetry skills to lyrics.” Thus began my love affair with pop music. I totally underestimated the difficulty in getting anything published and recorded.

1981: The Best of Friends (theme song of the Disney movie The Fox and the Hound.) I wrote the lyrics in two half-day sessions in 1976. To see it and other lyrics, click here.
